As part of the tour work done by New York, the Mayor of Mexico City, Miguel Angel Mancera Espinosa, he met with Ambassador Juan Jose Gomez Camacho, Permanent Representative of Mexico to the Organization of the United Nations (UN).
The diplomat highlighted the work done by the president to boost capital Constitution of the CDMX. “I am impressed by this achievement.”
He added that the recognition of this body to the Magna Carta of the capital “should be proud”.
Both officials agreed that Mexico City is recognized worldwide for being an inclusive metropolis, as well as its culture, cuisine and also for its sporting events.
The Head of Government, accompanied by the Commissioner for Political Reform and former ambassador of Mexico to UNESCO and the European Union and former Permanent Representative of Mexico to the UN, Porfirio Munoz Ledo, thanked the hospitality United Nations to expose the advances capital constitution.
He stressed that the international body recognizes that this document is the first in the world that endorses the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples to 10 years after its adoption.
Juan Jose Gomez Camacho attended the conference and exhibition of the capital’s president.
Accompanying the Head of Government the general coordinator of the Cabinet of CDMX, Julio Chavez Serna; Senator, Alejandro Encinas; Secretary of Rural Development and Equity for Communities capital, Icela Rosa Velázquez Rodríguez, and the director general of the Public Service Location Telefónica LOCATEL, Karina Moreno Ocampo.
